D'awww, so cute! Is that a Box Turtle? I just recently got a pair of Red Eared Sliders, though sadly 1 died. They such charming little things aren't they?

I don't know what kind of turtle this is. They live in a riad which is located in Meknes (Morocco) and this one visited me during breakfast. Very funny, because it fell asleep after it arrived . Please tell me if you know the species.

I'm actually unsure of his species. Are you completely sure he's a turtle? He may be a young tortoise. I'll see if I can figure out what he is though

As far as i can see it, a tortoise belongs to the group of turtles.

They do, but tortoises spend much less time in water, and more time on dry land than turtles. They're pretty cool and one species of tortoise lives out where I do. The ones out here can get pretty massive. There's one living at the local zoo who looks big enough for me to ride. Haha, he's over 150 years old though.
