My sister is obsessed with Guns N' Roses. Obsessed. (I admit she's gotten me all into them now, too.) So, I drew a bunch of pictures of them for her 16th birthday present on August 23rd. I worked on them on and off since May maybe, definitely June.

I let her pick the background colors for all of them (without telling her what pictures I was doing), and they all worked out pretty well.

This was the fourth one I worked on. Slash is my favorite, right next to Izzy. I can never decide between the two. I'm reading his autobiography (kinda sporadically), and this dude's been living the rock 'n' roll lifestyle since he was like 12. It's a wonder he's still alive -- but I guess you could say that for just about every original Guns N' Roses member, huh?

My poor black color pencil took a lot of abuse for this picture. It's half the pencil it used to be. Literally.

They took hours with GN'R on a loop in my ears. I've lost count of how many time's I've heard "HERE I AAAM, AND YOU'RE A ROCKET QUEEEEEEN. I MAY BE A LITTLE YOUNG, BUT HONEY I AIN'T NAIIIIIVE!"
