Side note: This was the longest time I took making a scorecard. It took me like a few days to finish because of much editing to do. And now I am exhausted.

This year was probably SML’s worst time. Not just quality wise I’ll get into it in a moment. I mean behind the scenes. This was the year where Nintendo threatened to sue them after the amount of inappropriate stuff they did in videos prior this year. Why they took until this year to put their foot down is unclear.

Anyway quality wise, THIS YEAR FUCKING SUCKED! I mean oh my god, 18 abysmals?! Not even the worst TV shows I’ve seen had that many! Did they just gave up at this point? That would make sense considering the dreadfulness I’ve had to sit through!

The problems with 2020 SML carry over this year and I will happily tell what they are:

The characters are still absolute assholes for no reason. Junior and Joseph still bully Cody for no reason, Jeffy and Rosalina/Rose are still tormenting Mario/Marvin for no reason, Cody, Mario/Marvin, and Chef Pee Pee are still miserable punching bags, and even Brooklyn Guy is still a prick at times.

A lot of the videos feature filler and one joke throughout the runtime. Prime example is The Pink Couch where they just confuse dye and die together for like 14 minutes. Cody’s Evil Twin is one joke repeated again and again for the whole video as well.

We even get introduced to new characters like Johnathan (Brooklyn Guy’s brother) who’s just a horny obsessed creep, and Barbara (Brooklyn Guy’s mother) who is an absolute bitch for no reason. All she does is shit on Brooklyn Guy saying he’s a failure even though he has many jobs so this makes no sense. And we get PJ Crenshaw who is admittedly better than Roy, but I still hate him.

Oh and don’t even get me started on the stupid ass remakes. They were all pointless. Some were just mediocre, but most of them were bad or even atrocious. Not only are certain ones just shot for shot remakes without anything different, but some of them actually add stuff that COMPLETELY DESTROYS THE POINT OF THE ORIGINAL!

Cool Cody, in the original where Junior and Joseph just want the old Cody back for his personality. In the remake, they only want him back just to make fun of him. WOW WHAT A CHANGE!

The Bake Sale, has Roy just take Junior’s cookies when he was trying to sell them and doesn’t even let Junior keep them of course. Also they ruin the ketchup in the cookies joke by having Junior lie to Cody then revealing it after he tries them. It was funny in the original because we didn’t see Junior do it, and the reveal made it funny because of how unexpecting it was.

And the other bad remakes also do worse jokes trust me. Also why the hell did they remake Chef Pee Pee Pees Peas and Goodman’s Son Gets A Job?! Seriously, those were absolutely pointless to remake! I can think of a number of videos to remake, because they’re focused on Nintendo characters!

If there’s anything else I should say, please let me know, and I could update this description to give it a mention. But right now, I am completely devastated at the fact this is the new worst year of SML. At least 2011 had excuses for comedy. This year has like the worst I’ve seen from this channel. And that goes for the quality of a lot of the videos…
