i think it would be better if you gave it a more detailed texture and not just this overall dust thing.
highlighting the edges of some of the metals can also help break it up

The normal maps are flipped wrong on his stomach. Also do you use 3ds max? And what renderer?

The normal map is fine it is just the lighting that is off to the left of the chief screwed with the normal map only. I do use 3Ds Max and I use Vray for the rendering.

LOL. Yeah, I was with Windows Vista one of the worst OS out there, And my 3Ds Max 9 is not compatible with Vista so I was SOL, now that I got XP back, prepare to see more. And my next up coming model will be great.

Oh yeah, I did receive them. But I have not really don anything to them yet. I am making a a texture for the EOD chestplate. It is nearly complete.
