My part of an exchange hosted by , and I got !This is meant to be their character Chelsea. I apologize if it looks nothing like her
. I did my best though! I also tried a new lineless technique on this one. Not sure if I'll keep going at it, but not bad for a first eh? I really need to practice on my lighting and shading. The background was super fun to do. If you can't tell, it's raining outside the cave. I'm sorta pleased at how that came out.
Pose: Walking
Color: Teal, somewhat secondary (purple and orange?) and a bit of complimentary as purple and yellow are opposites. (Same goes for blue and orange.) YEA COMBO.

The golden stripes and the glowing eyes are really awesome. It makes the dragon pop out of the picture perfectly.
I love the rain outside and how the light shines into the cave.
The rocks inside the cave are very well drawn, too.

I really love the color range in this. All of those indigos are so RICH and the yellow and orange tones really pop against them.

I am SERIOUSLY in love with this piece! The way you did the colors here and those golden designs! The lighting, the perfectly lit talons, that purplish sheen under wing, UGH this rocks!

It's not a style I would like to fiddle with too often (waaay too time consuming and messy in my opinion) but I guess in this case it worked quite well.
