PRINT AVAILABLEMy favourite from my recent photoshoot with Johanna. Yes I actually asked her to hold the violin wrong.
It was freezing outside and later my two friends who were helping us made a small fire in a fireplace which we found in that abandoned house...

The position is correct, the fingers are not. The bow slipped and should be between the bridge and the area where strings are.

The one thing that really bothers me about this photo is that she's holding it wrong.

For a better composition - the violin forms a dark cross in the center point of attention and thus makes it more pleasing to view.
Actually, you can play in that position, just the fingers and the bow are wrong, she was trembling because of the cold. Makes me sad, but there is nothing I can do about it. At least we know how to actually play.
