PRINT AVAILABLEMy favourite from my recent photoshoot with Johanna. Yes I actually asked her to hold the violin wrong.
It was freezing outside and later my two friends who were helping us made a small fire in a fireplace which we found in that abandoned house...

This is a beautiful composition, the colors are mesmerizing and for the ones who think Johanna resembles Kristen Stewart, I think Johanna is much prettier than the queen-of-blank-faces.
About people who get annoyed by "holding the violin wrong", they're thinking strictly on a classical music sense. There are other fiddle styles where the instrument is actually held differently. Some people just forget that a violin isn't synonymous with classical music.

Though the backround is kind of dull, I hate to say. Nevertheless, all else is superb.

I both agree and disagree. It's not important in the sense that the focus should be on the subject, but the background does do a lot to set the mood for the rest of the image.
I feel that, in your submission, it doesn't take away from the image very much-- however, (in my opinion), the background has so much potential that I'm sure if you had the time you would have seeked out. 8] Just some food for thought.

But the background was grey like that... the whole Estonia is a mix of bluish grey and white. There really aren't any colorful spots and since the background is really blurred, it's hard to see anything

Super tired of pictures of people playing stringed instruments that obbviously don't know how to even hold them correctly.
Either put the effort into watching people and studying players, or take a photo of a real musician.
