Both I and the model have played violin and we know how to hold the instrument correctly.
I asked her to hold it wrong for a better composition, because this way the violin formed a dark cross in the center point of attention and thus making the picture more appealing to the eye.
Many violin players who have commented this piece have said that it doesn't bother them at all.
