PRINT AVAILABLEMy favourite from my recent photoshoot with Johanna. Yes I actually asked her to hold the violin wrong.
It was freezing outside and later my two friends who were helping us made a small fire in a fireplace which we found in that abandoned house...

Haha, people freak out because she's holding the violin wrong.
Seems to me that yesterday there was a woman with a heart shaped lollipop over her personal area on the front page.
I honestly doubt anyone complained about the lollipop in the wrong place
Oh well.

I always figured people that usually walk around and play the violin didn't really have it correctly. Either way, it's her damn violin and if she wanted to beat it against the rock, she could do as she pleased :]

It's a beautiful shot and I think holding the violin wrong is what really makes it. It's not distracting as others have said. it gives a better view and I think the beautiful imagery you convey here would be less (not lost mind you) if she were holding it properly.

I asked her to hold the violin incorrectly because this way the composition looked better (forming a cross in the center point of attention) and thus, made the whole picture look more appealing to the eye.

I believe that it pains you, but no worries, both I and the model have played violin and I asked her to hold it wrong just because it made the composition much better.

For a different composition (the violin forms a dark cross in the center point of attention which makes it more appealing to the eye). We have both played violin so it was only for the composition.

Probably so that he could get a different angle on her hand. I've played for 11 years, and seeing her hand collapsed really doesn't bother me.
