well i practice (not much on bgs exactly but on other subjects) for lighting and colour. I'm a noob at colour and somehow the colour in this one came out okay. I cheat a lot by using colour balance XD
I look a tutorials mostly, videos, livestreams etc. Pick stuff I like about the tuts and experiment. I look at images yes but not all the time, like I look at waterfall pics to get an idea of how the water falls uwu
I need to do more bg paintings as colour practice, thank you very much c: I just don't know how to add clear details into my paintings, like the darker areas are always tough for me, I over highlight a lot XD

You finish colouring alot of your stuff, you practice much more than i do .-. I just doodle a lot
