Ah hm, so, I disassemble the fish, eating anything edible, sometimes even the teeth and bones when it's deep fried-- even when told not to (mom, you can't stop me--)
and then I find the fish stones, the otoliths (it's a calcium structure found in the inner ears of bony fish)

Ah, if anyone's interested in finding them too, it's like in the head of the fish... break open the big piece near the spine, behind the eyes..
there should be like goopy stuff.. and in that there's usually two otoliths... (sometimes I only find one... but, i also might have eaten it, opps)
You'll know if it's it immediately cuz it feels like eating sand.. it tastes like a rock--
some otoliths are really really tiny and break easily, so be careful--
The shape and size vary from fish to fish and can tell a fish's age o3o!
The Sheephead fish have a big otolith that's called a Lucky Stone ...it resembles ivory and has a "L" on it
Lobsters also have a cool thing in their heads... ppl say it looks like Virgin Mary
