Concept sketches and final design of Ichabod Crane for character design class! We've spent most of the year so far on this story, developing both the characters and the environment of Sleepy Hollow.

Anyway, I got some really good advice about pushing my design further from my teacher. It was kind of annoying to have to revise my characters when I was done with something I was really happy with, but it enabled me to do something else I liked even more.

Okay, I guess with Ichabod I still like his fancy detailed version at the lower left the best. But the finalized one is actually animateable, which was the point!
