The following is a qoute I got from someone on a Neru Video.Neru is just a bitchy blonde Miku. I hate her and I think she insults Miku's design by looking like her. Idk why everyone likes her, It makes Miku look bad!

1. Green is the Enemy was a fanmade song, it is not canon, and therefore not in Neru's actual personality.
2. Read her whole page on the fanloid wiki.Β
If you decide I'm jsut TOTALLY wrong, here's the exact passage from the wiki stating this infortmation.
On October 14 of 2007, when theΒ Hatsune Miku Β movement was on the rise beyond expectations, a Japanese TV station suddenly broadcasted a program that stereotyped Miku users as "anime freaks without stable work experience". Three days later, Miku's pictures became unsearchable on main search engines such as Google and Yahoo! Japan, and in the following two days, Miku's article was deleted from the Japanese Wikipedia.
This news became widespread or "flamed up (ηδΈγγ)" on 2ch bulletin boards with the rumor that an advertising agency which had a strong influence in the Japanese music industry was behind the series of "anti-Miku negative campaign," in an attempt to purge Miku and indie musicians from the music trend. Then, numerous comments were posted that denied the rumor, or "put off the fire (ζΆη«γγ)," followed by the phrases "ι£½γγγε―γγ (Got bored. Going to bed.)" or "ε―γγγεγγε―γγγ (Gonna go to bed. Follow me, y'all!). Yet those comments drew nothing but negative responses from 2ch netizens. The contributors of such posts were branded as "puppets of the agency". The netizens joked about the "puppets" and made a spoof character for these posts as "Akita Neru". Later Smith Hioka, an illustrator, finalized the concept art of Neru. every vocaloid song is fanmade. anyone can make a song for them but it is not related nor will it be for their actual designs or personality.

Whatever a user makes with Vocaloid or anything related, is not official.

Wait. I now know two stories.
1.) Neru was created by a group of Miku haters. She originally had orange hair, the opposite of blue (or was it green? XD) on the color wheel, but it was changed to yellow.
2.) Neru was created to protest about Windows removing Miku from the internet, because Windows realized there were more and more people searching for "Hatsune Miku" on Google, so Windows removed her without doing any research on her.
