Description mmmmmmmmmmkay guys hello have a strange lil lloyd drawing and strap in for a longer description than most

Sooo this is a new style I've been using in a lot of my traditional art for a while... and I'm finally coming around to showcasing publicly (and digitally)

I've been a little hesitant to show it to you guys for a while because I feel like the switch might be regarded as lazy (switching from a somewhat semi realistic style to a completely cartoony one) and some people might not like it.

So far... I really like it. I find it much easier to draw dynamic poses (or poses in general, which I STRUGGLE SOOO BAD WITH) and facial expressions. This one is mostly just a test since I've never tried it digitally before... and I think I like traditional better because it gives off a more cartoony and dynamic vibe?? (I'll post some of it soon)

sooo yeah... tell me if you like it or not?? What you think i can improve maybe?? idk im still deciding if I really wanna make this switch in styles or not..

Even anime has chibi! Realistic and unrealistic styles are good. Who cares about consistency? (And everyone needs a style without hands for those days they’re just not working :3)

Don't feel pressured to switch styles or to pick one over the other! Just draw however you feel like drawing that day, there's no need to limit yourself to just one style.

I guess I'll try that, but sometimes I'm afraid my inconsistent style may be annoying I guess?? I'm not sure exactly...

There's no rule that says an artist has to have a consistent style! Trying new things and experimenting is a sign of learning and growth, and if you ever want to go professional with your work, it's great to show diversity with what you can do. Don't stress about it!

It's always nice to have a cartoony style to fall back on for quick drawings.Β

that's fine and great !!! art style is a myth:tm: designed by Big Cartoon to make people think staying in their comfort zone is a good thing. Not reallly- but !!! draw however thhe Fuck ya like! Inconsistency is wonderful! Embrace it ! EXPERIMENT !

Haha, thanks for this!!

And yeah, I was planning on doing something different with the hands even tho they're a struggle area most of the time. I did different stuff in my traditional art, this was mostly a digital test.

Thanks for the feedback!
