Spider Woman (the Jessica Drew one not the other ones)

lol i remember my sister's teacher saying theres no such thing as spiderwoman
Anyway started off as Scarlett Witch. Which i couldnt draw the head piece since i had already drawn the hair first. So i just drew a mask instead and made it Spiderwoman
I'm pretty happy with it, the face looks real i reckon. Reference i used were Olivia Wilde and Anna Farris. However it ended up looking like Bree Amar unintentionally.

yeah i am back need a new desk top computer though..only have a lap top not the same...haven't done digital painting for a while...i am now sketching my daughter when she was little so hope to finish soon..

this may surprise you, But there is no dodge or burn used at all in this particular drawing (possibly a bit in the hair). I want to go back and edit more details into it but i'm lazy too.

oh serious. so you used a darker soft brush around teh edges?

it looks dodged cause i copied it all out and duplicated it and set that layer to linear dodge (or something similar). Definitely looked better like this. I use hard brush with Gaussian blur for this (shhhhhh its a secret method hehe). hmmm though i used almost all soft brushes for the Ms Marvel.
