This piece was inspired by the second part of the Crisis: Doppelgangers scenario/bonus side-story. The two characters in this picture are Fake Vincent, the cowardly doppelganger of the REAL Vincent Ravencroft, & the anime form of .

In Part II, Fake Vincent loses his cowardly side upon realization of his feelings for Opal, & he changes after he saves her from the clutches of Fake Rayne(refer to first part here: [link] ). However, there is something Fake Vincent does not know....OPAL DOES NOT RECIPROCATE THOSE FEELINGS.

So what happens when a demon falls in love w/ someone that does not love them back?

This. This is what happens. And that's only the beginning of her troubles now that he's found out the truth.

This piece was meant to give off a creepy vibe, & sort of tender yet forceful at the same time. It's kinda weird. But I hope I succeeded in giving off that feeling.

In his eyes resides the look of pain, yet questioning. A sort of, "Why don't you love me...?" look, paired w/ a look that says, "You're mine!!"

She, of course, is in great fear of him now that he's grown unstable. Poor Opal.

Ahh, well. She'll get away in time.
