In all seriousness one of my biggest pet peeves is how people view Mapleshade's vengeance as a black and white matter, either as "Mapleshade was right and it was justice" or "Mapleshade was manipulative and evil and blamed others for no reason".

In reality it's more of a grey issue. Was Mapleshade wronged? Yes. Are her actions justified? No.

Similar stories for the other characters. Frecklewish was absolutely in the wrong for some of her behavior toward Mapleshade and the kits(referring to them as "halfclan monsters") but it does not justify her death, let alone such a brutal and violent one.

Even though she didn't help Mapleshade or the kits in the river, I honestly don't think there was much she could of done anyway(not as an excuse for her apathy about it, she was definitely a dick when it came to that), and she didn't seem to be aware of the fact that the kits actually ended up drowning(this may of been a white lie to try talk Mapleshade down from attacking though, who knows).

Almost every single character had some form of blood on their paws, but ultimately Mapleshade had shed the most blood following her disillusioned form of 'justice'.
