Hey! Sorry if I'm inactive and all, but I haven't really been given the liberty to do anything of interest. (well, at least nothing unrelated to academics)I'm working on my AP art portfolio some more this year, and I'll be illustrating various pieces for my concentration. I call it the Stranger series: a compilation of surrealistic portraits that involves the study of human anatomy, emotion and different elements.
I'll try to update with stuff when I can ahaha.
This is the first that I call "Absence"in the set.
"Sometimes the moment appears fleeting and evanescent, and everything begins to erode away in front of you like nothing existed."
Graphite medium. 2B Mechanical Pencil.

This has got to be one of my favorite drawings I've yet seen. I showed it to my art teacher and that spurred a discussion for 20+ minutes. This piece is gorgeous. I can't wait to see more!

Amazing work, all of it. The realistic portions are just that, photographic quality, & I love how if you look close enough, you can see the spine through the vapors in the neck. Creepy, beautiful!

This is brilliant! I love how you put in all those little details (especially into the bones) and made that that smoky effect. I'm taking a figure drawing class and this really gives me some ideas on what to do for a final project.

Man, this is amazing! I'm in AP drawing, but this is wayyy better than what anybody I know can do. Plus, I'm towards the amateur side of the class, but a beginner's art class is too easy for me DX

I don't have enough to say for a whole critique, but I do want you to know you are definitely on the right track if you're aiming for a drawing portfolio. If you're going for 2-D design, it's a little bit different.

This is so amazing! I honestly thought it was a photomanipulation at first. I don't know how you manage to get those effects like the smoke and transparent neck using just pencil, but however you do it, the result is stunning!
