Description
I made these about a month ago for a project in my Japanese 2 class where we had to sell/buy things. Ours was the only shop with such items and I ended up selling most of these charms. Most of these were my toying with new techniques (some of which I will NEVER USE AGAIN orz)
-Top left: Jelly doughnuts. the sugar ended up coming off, I didn't use enough glaze to get it to stick.
-Top right: Custard/cream doughnuts. Tried to make some fancy glazing with FIMO Decorating Gel, some of it worked, some not so much.
-Middle left: Miniature fortune cookie charms. Each are about the size of my thumbnail, so that's smaller than a postage stamp. Done these before, no biggie.
-Middle right: Chocolate bars. Reinventing the chocolate buddies I made a while back, this time in white, milk, and dark chocolate! I was amazed that the white chocolates kept clean the entire time.
-Bottom left: Yellow cake. It seems some of the colors didn't mix so well -sigh- I also tried to frost the cake with a TLS/clay mixture. . . not trying that again. Took way too much TLS and way too much time. And it got everywhere - my hands, my desk, my blade. . . Had to freeze it for four days just to be able to handle it long enough to texture. . .
-Bottom right: Onigiri. Half have faces, the others do not. Not much new here.
Each of these pieces is initialed.
the leftovers are not on etsy, sorry

I would be so happy if I could get a grade for selling my charms. What a cool project!

Haha, that would be too cool c: Sadly, we didn't get a grade for how much we sold, but rather for speaking Japanese while doing so (darn!)

Darn! xD
Well, it's still an amazing project, seeing that you actually made money off the stuff.
Oh, if only my school offered Japanese...

They look kind of tedious to make.

the only really tedious ones were the cakes XD the fortune cookies and onigiri are definitely the fastest.
