Description
Prior to their unity as “Team Headway,” their bonds were shaken by deception and animosity, as they came from different sides of a single war. It was a hard day. There was a major morale hit. The press and public didn’t take kindly to the new squad with “enemy” recruits.

The leader-in-training among them suggests sharing stories to get to know one another better, hoping to build trust among the team. As the bard takes the stage, the group medic makes sure each is supplied with a comforting mug of cocoa.

The tension of the day fades and they all get a bit closer as a group, everyone begins to feel better. It’s not high energy cheeriness, but everyone is content and peaceful here.

Without a doubt this was the most ambitious group piece I've ever taken on for a commission, never mind it literally being the most characters I've drawn in a single piece before. I learned so much during this one, but I probably won't be tackling a group this large again any time in the near future.
