There are wild pokemon called "Strong Foes" here that have a chance to be shiny (and are recruitable).
About items I don't know, didn't make it this far yet to find one.

Charmander would be die if he diving... Because it's flame on its tail are their "life". Once that flame is gone, it's die because their flame are their heat for their body.

Isn't in PMD doesn't have shiny pokemon? (Except PMD EoS/D/T where the in the story, there's a shiny Celebi)

Yea, you can't get shiny starter. I just decided to draw it like that, because on the first beach scene lightning made it more pink than blue. So it just stayed that way in my artworks
