I gotta remind myself whenever I'm making art for DJS, that it's fine to want to outdo myself every week and to challenge myself whenever I'm feeling up to it. Submitting good work frequently helps my SNS from becoming irrelevant the sea of other talented artists, after all. But I can sometimes put a little too much pressure on myself and will sometimes even feel a little guilt if a family trip or party keeps me from finishing my work on time. Which it shouldn't, I know, because real life and family come first. Not to mention my mental health. Maybe that kind of struggle with finding balance between work and self-care is something Jenny could relate with.

I doubt I'm the only artist who feels this way. So if you're one of these kinds of people, here's your reminder that we are in the middle of a pandemic, and we've all got stuff going on in our real lives one way or another. So be sure to go easy on yourself.
