Im still trying to learn how to draw the basic anthro body. you got arms, legs, hands then this big tail thing and big ears. This is an unfinished piece of work from me that im TRYING to spend more time finishing. I want something good to come from this picture. Will keep you posted
Update 1: Hey there. Ive done some more work on this one and taken all of your advice to make changes to the head-body proportion. Please let me know what you think! Please know that im going to redraw that hand of his... Its so hard to draw XD
Update 2: Hey again, Ive done some linework and given his face a side-on look and an open mouth

Why thankyou. Progress is slow on that picture... I just cant find the effort to do anything with it. That hand is the main reason... i cant seem to get it right. Any suggestions lol?

i usually look at my hand in the way i want to draw it maybe take a pic and try to set it next to the pic (usually helps)

I will certainly try but it is VERY difficult for me. Im kinda getting it though... slowly. I havent had that picture open for ages... Ill get working on it soon

Hah i will. I had that picture open yesterday and i did a little bit of the hand. Im not so sure how well the depth of field went... its better than before though!

I have been drawing. OMG SHOCK HORROR! Yeah i've been learning to draw anime in my free time. Im starting with dragonball z and gona work my way around till ive learned a fair bit

What do you think of the muzzle. I got a comment before that said it looked side-on. You know, the nose should be further around the face. what do you think?

I absolutely love the facial expression. It's very charismatic. This is great practice, and you've improved alot from when you first started. Other folks picked up on the proportional stuff up top, so all that's left now is to keep on practicing

I see you've updated! Lookin' pretty smooth. And nice work on the 3/4 view there! The only thing I have to say about that right now, is that it looks like the nose is positioned as if the muzzle is at a complete side view. I feel like it might represent the 3/4 view better if you showed more of the nose, or possibly the whole thing, just off to the side there. So that it doesn't look like a 3/4 view with a broken muzz!
Still though, I really like how this one's coming out. He looks like a real smooth talker.

Heh well yea now that you mention it. It does look a little that way. I tried to make this not happen by like making the nose seem further round the muzzle in the 1st place. How can i fix it? Like how far do i bring it round?

This is a little crude because I'm lacking in wacom pen, but I played around with it a little on photoshop. I didn't really move it per se, but I added where you can seea tiny bit of the other side of the nose, and I brought the nose up a little bit because it looked like it was resting very short ways off the lip.

Don't take that as fact though, I'm still learning too, so I might be off base a little.

Well, I still have the pen. It's just the frakkin pen tip that popped out, presumably because I chewed too much on it. But they are pretty cheap so i might order some this week. Not having it makes me sad. And I have a few things I want to do with it.
But yeah. At the moment, nothing else is quite catching my eye. But if I think of something, I'll poink it at ya. Always happy to help.

Well i saw on the wacom Australia website there are tibs/nibs in packs of about five for about 15 bucks or so. Cheap cheap
My stylus is kinda blunt :S Saaaad XD
Speaking of catching your eye, do you think the eye on the left should be further to the right? as in making him look further to the left. Im also wondering whether or not to make his muzzle slightly tilted so you can see a small amount of the top.

Hmm now that you mention it, the eye could possibly stand to be moved over a little bit. But it's not a huge glaring problem that stands out to me. Since they're pretty cartoonish eyes.
As far as the muzzle goes, I think that would help some. It would add a bit of depth and perspective to it, so long as it's not too overboard.

Looking good... his head Mayyyyy be a tad big, but I'm looking at it from a cartoonists stand point, so given that, I'm thinking his head isn't big, but he's a younger fox (A big head can give that kinda appearance)

Not bad man, this is a good start. What helps me in art is when you think you're done, step back and take a look at it and change what you need to. What I mean is like, if you look at this now you'll notice that his right arm is about half the width of his chest. Do rough sketches first and refine the details when you think you're almost done. Proportions are everything, even if they're a major pain.

Oh whoops i didnt see that as a problem. Now that u point it out ill fix it XD Another person pointed out that his head was too big for his body. What do you think. i can fix that arm up in a flash
I hope ur computer manages to fix itself up. I had a simmilar problem to you. When it shuts itself off, does it completely loose power or does it just restart? Mine used to restart itself after about 10 minutes and then keep going for as long as i needed it to. Weird. I replaced the RAM and it worked perfectly.
