Description
Here's a small excerpt from the rules of my Werewolf Board Game about one of the actions your wolfies can take during their turn: Hunting.--------------
HUNTING
When you've decided to go hunting, draw a Hunting-Card.
To determine wether you successfully hunt down your prey, you need to look at 2 factors: The current season and the terrain your wolf stands on.
Let's say it's summer and you're in the forest. You draw a Hare card.
In Summer, Hares have a hunting-difficulty of 2 (as stated on the bottom of the card). The terrain-modification of the forest is 2.
Add them together and you'll get the value you need to reach with your dice in order to hunt down your prey (in this case: 4).
So if you throw a 4 or higher, you succeed and will receive the amount of resources denoted on the right side of the card (in this case 1 food, 1 pelt, 0 bone, 0 trophy).
If you're unlucky, you can also meet an opponent when searching for prey!
In this case the strength (amount of dice they get to throw in a fight) of the opponent is noted in the top left corner of the card.
The season-parameters on the bottom are used differently:They modify the oppenents strength.
For example:
A bear's strength is two 6-sided dice. With them, he could throw 2 and 4, which would make 6 altogether.
In spring , however, (still weakend from hybernation), this value is modified by -1, making it 5. Hence a bear is easier to beat in spring.
After you kill the bear, you will receive the amount of resources denoted on the right side of the card, just like with prey.
If you draw a Lone Wolf, they act just like opponents until you fight and defeat them.
Because then, you can decide wether you kill them or want to have them in your own pack.
(Killing them won't get you any resources, though, because, come on, skinning and eating your own kind is just mean...!)

Did the game ever come to fruition ...? (Is it a Do not Starve style ???)

Count me in. I am gladly going to support this at the best of my capabilities. Now then, I would really love to say how good those images are, with the animals having a very naturalistic look, which combined with a good depiction of their associated traits (bears being strong and fierce, hares being cute and stuff), definitely gives these cards a good quality. And if things go very well, this is going to be something very unique. So, I wish you the best of luck.

Right now the rules are only written in my native language, german.
I do try to sum up the rules that concern a new game illustration in english, though. So everyone gets an idea of how the game works.
I'll probably start working on a fully-fledged translation in march, after the prototype will be finished.
