prismacolor does wonders 
you can get a chalky look, a thin line~ a lot of expressive textures.

You seem to be great at "saying" a lot without using too many strokes. This has been an elusive skill for me to learn (as I tend to get very carried away if I'm not careful), and I'm really trying to develop the ability to do that.
I look at some of Frank Frazetta's drawings, and they have a lot of the same attributes as this (imo). He's got these rough sketches, where a few lines and thick strokes make up a detailed and expressive drawing...it's so cool! Great faces Kekuni, keep it up!

I try to think in fewer strokes every time i draw, i got to be careful too. I've gotten better at it over the semesters, and more control with line weight really helped too.

Do you go outside and draw sometimes? I hav trouble finding peopel taht will do that with me D: Lately I've been feeling like drawing figures from photos anyways *shrug*

Awesome!!! Keep at it, I filled up 2 1/2 sketchbooks of people drawn in public lol. I have a sketchgroup on sundays like Bobby Chiu XD He's what motivated me to draw lots :]

Awesome stuff!!! Well generallly the anatomy on the lady is right. Only thing that raelly bugs me is her knee caps! They looked like they got shoved up lol.
