Here is the Redwall fursona of a fellow ffnet writer of mine, warrior4: [link]His name is Rector (the fursona, not the author), and as you can plainly see, he is a mouse.
warrior4 described Rector as an ordinary brown-furred, black-eyed male mouse, and when I asked him, he said that he resembled how Matthias looked in "Mattimeo".
Rector is a fine archer, and here he is about to fire off one of his "Peace-Inducing Patriot Arrows". You'd have to read some of his fics to fully understand that.

I doubt they would have any effect. Besides something tells me that she'd be smart enough to have a gas mask in her back of tricks and thus wouldn't have to worry about anything.
