Description
This was initially done as a sketch to kill time while waiting for jury service in the court. The sketch of 3 redheads (the same model) was done in a 2.5 hour period. Then it evolved into this finished piece.

I was considering using colored pencils since the red hair is so attractive. However, I like the flexibility with graphite more and more delicate details with graphite anyway.

I can definitely spend more time and on this. As someone said, "A painting (drawing) is never finished. You just leave it when you get the most out of it." I had fun with this and feel good about the result. I'll leave it for now.

Paper: 9x12 Strathmore 300 Bristol Vellum (Cropped to 9x11)
Other: kneaded eraser, 1 inch camel hair brush (for hair blending)
