I would do that but I'm afraid that this is a lost cause and since I decided that after 20 May I'm leaving DA for good, I want to post as many photos as I can - sort of last hurrah,Β a band playing on sinking Titanic...All good things come to an end, but I want to use those 20 days to leave a reminder of me ever being on DA

I guess I should have been more specific with my question.Β What does eclipse do better than classic dA?Β Where is it more efficient or easier to use, or give you more options or abilities than classic dA does?Β Β

I wasn't asking you to justify or defend your opinion, and most certainly wasn't trying to put you on trial, but rather was curious about whether I'd overlooked some aspect of eclipse that makes it at least acceptable as a replacement for classic dA.Β For several months now, I've toggled back and forth from classic to eclipse, and every time thought my problems with eclipse must be my own, because I didn't think anyone in charge of dA could possibly think it was a good idea to replace classic dA with eclipse; it felt clunky, non-intuitive to use, weak, and lacking in options.Β My issues with it are many, as are the options available on classic dA that are simply unavailable on eclipse.Β If I was challenged to explain what about classic dA is more efficient or easier to use than eclipse, I could provide a list.Β If I was asked what options I used on classic dA that are not available on eclipse, or which options are simply better organized on classic dA than on eclipse, I could provide a list.Β I asked my question of you not as a challenge, but rather out of genuine curiosity about why anyone would claim to love eclipse, when for me, the choice between the two is obvious and is not even close.Β After using eclipse many times, knowing that soon it would be my only option, so I might as well learn it . . . I honestly can't list any more advantages it has over classic dA than you can.Β The simple fact is, I don't enjoy browsing deviantArt on eclipse.Β Too many of the things that made me love the old site will simply become unavailable after May 20th.Β You take care MelianMarionette.Β Β
