SO I want to practice making some mini comics for Otherworld (my comic in progress still stuck in the planning phase). I wanted to make a comic (this will have two pages) that shows how someone logs in to the virtual reality game, they have to be asleep for it. The gear hooks up to your nervous system basically and takes hold of your whole brain.

My main protagonist, Jaimie, is a world-class Gold player who sponsored by several companies to play. He participates in many arena events as well as gold tier quests. He has to log in at the same time every night though, and he's on a really strict schedule.
Your Otherworld avatar is similar to yourself in real life - same body type, height, athleticism, muscle mass, skin colour. You can change every thing else though, and can add many other things without limits. So because Jamie is a sponsored gold player, he has to work out a lot while he's awake and practice his skills during the day.

Of course after awhile this gets kind of boring as a life.
I wanted to portray this moment as a slow, tired one, because Jaimie's kind of tired of doing this.

The decision of how the comic will look is still undecided, but I love the ideas of making it like a storyboard. I'm a film student so some of what I learn at Uni can still go into this will proper film rules. But this is for practice, maybe some version of this small piece will end up in the final one who knows.
