I would say this is a perfect shot except for one thing. It's the lighting. Although the shot has placed the lighting correctly, and in a way that shows off your features, the overall lighting is too dark I believe for this shot. It hides your face and eyes, which should be highlighted by the mask not hidden by it. Furthermore, it hides to much of your body, so the detail in it gets lost in darkness. I would also comment on the lack of editing, the scar/mark on your right leg for example, and the pimple/discolouration on your chin are both things that should have been fixed in editing or through make up. Also I would have liked your face to be tilted more to the model's left thus allowing us to fully see her other eye, as it is one can only see the whites of it, which is slightly off putting. However, the shape, and form of the shot is great. I really admire how well your body is oriented in this piece, which I know isn't easy . The clothing for the shoot is excellent, the purple and black, really work with shadows, and would have looked soo much nicer if there had been a bit more light in some areas! I also love the mask and gloves, not everyone can pull off that look, but you have done so stunningly! . Further note, the use of garters was a good idea, you have nice legs, neither too skinny nor too large, and so they are well portrayed in this shot in the use of stockings and garter. I'm still not sure whether the way the legs were placed is good or not, in one way I like it and in another I would have liked to see them slightly more together, so I will leave that alone and consider it well done. Overall, a nice shot, missing some light and editing, but fantastic look and positioning as well as great wardrobe.

I AGREE!

Oh god, the number of times I've looked at this - and indeed, played with it in Photoshop! But I decided a long time ago that when I began shooting as a paid model, that the photographer's final image was the one I would stick with, out of respect for what they were trying to accomplish. Still, it would have been that much more VIBRANT with better lighting! That said, at least I can appreciate that this...lack of editing...proves I don't have any unsightly curves or bumps or a not-toned stomach, haha. Moving on, though, I love the way garters look on my legs. I'm uploading a camera phone shot from behind the scenes at a shoot last week that has a fantastic pair with nylons.

Thank you again - really and sincerely - for your feedback. While I love the short comments, hearing what actually works and doesn't is simply fantastic and a great way to grow in my work.

Yes it is unfortunate with the lighting, and don't worry about telling your photographer that you think a shot could use some more editing. I know whenever I work with a model I love to hear feedback and what they like/dislike. And your right your body is well shown in this picture and you can pull off the legs like theres no tomorrow.

Well, in that case I might go back and play just to play and post it so we can see what the viewers like (or in your case, the critiquer).

I do have to agree, I do love my legs...
