Heee! Been kinda immersed in the .hack universe recently, and I ADORE the Legend of Twilight manga, it's so much better than the anime~These two are just awesome. I adore the complex relationship they have going (Reki: I hate my job T_T;; ) Lol! The text says...... hey, why spoil it (: If you can read it, then yay, but feel free to put whatever you think in there xD
Edit: This pic is actually not a shounen-ai, but my friend just said it looks like Balmung is trying to chat up Reki. xD Oh noes..... hehe. xD ('I can ROLEPLAY being drunk!!' )

reki is ADORABLE hes my fav character in the whole book!!! ive only read hack twilight tho and havnt tried the anime yet but still in the middle of hack sign so i dont quite understand wats going on......

Whee, this is a good drawing! ^_^ The poses are good, as are the details of the costumes. Although the style is exactly the same, so it makes me wonder if you used reference pictures... I like how you used different colors for each. ^^

Couple things: first, it should be "sore" not "kore". "Sore" refers to an object that is closer to the listener than the speaker. "Kore" is the opposite. So it's almost like Reki is talking about his book... <_< What is that kanji??

- It is 'to drink'. Confusingly though I wrote one left to right & horizontal and one right to left & vertical, which is probably where you got confused xD;
Balmung: Re~ki! Kimi mo nomitai? ( 飲みたい is what that kanji is.) = i.e. 'you wanna drink too?'
Reki: Mou, Balmung-san, kore wa osake jyanaiyo.
Fine, yes, perhaps it should be 'sore', but I've done two and a half years of Japanese (got a first both years) and went there for five weeks for myself, so I promise you, this isn't just stuff I've pulled up off anime 
As for the style, yes it is an attempt at the style, but I NEVER put copies of actual pictures on my dA, I think it's really low ): After all, then it's not my art, is it?

Great job. I adore those two, they're just plain funny. And I have to agree, the manga did a better job with Reki and Balmung than the anime. In the anime.. It almost made Reki seem evil. I know he wasn't really, but.. still.
Oh well, still, awesome job. Very simple style yet captures the characters perfectly.

I did too! Although I know Reki meant well in the anime, they just made him appear so.. conniving at times. But indeed, they have a great relationship. Though I have to admit.. I was a bit confused when they started referring to Reki finding a "new love" when he betrayed Balmung. Not that I'm against the pairing.. It just confused the heck out of me that they started saying things like that.
Keep up the great work, I look forward to seeing more fun pictures from you in the future.
(..And I'm dying to know what is written in the picture. xD)

Words in the manga? You do realize there were lots of words in the manga. Why.. ..Manga is half made up of words, with the other half the pictures. ..That's an awful lot of words to pick from. ..But, I think I know which ones you mean.
