J'jima has been a slave all her life. She doesn't know what she did in her previous life to anger the Goddess, only that she must work harder this life to please her. If she can then there is a chance her next life will be better. Having served her master for 26 years she didn't know how it could get worse. Her master is Compo 'pimp of the fifth rank' and as such for the most part her only task was to lay with any who could pay her price. Admittedly her price has been going down since she reached 25 cycles. Once she started wearing a bra sash she knew he wouldn't keep her much longer. No mater how much she hated this life it was still a shock. Her master called it cleaning the coup for he was clearing his stall of unproductive birds. He would stand a slave in front of the stall before the market opened. As soon as other stall owners started opening their shops and costumers came to market he would call out for bids. It was humiliating for those who showed interest would only offer a few coppers. Then Compo would state he could only except a gold. Everyone knew this was outrageous for even a virgin slave, male or female, wasn't worth a gold. As the day wore on he would lower the price. Sometimes a crowd would gather calling out what they felt she was worth. If at the end of the day no one was willing to pay her price then that was it, Compo would place the slave in the stocks for sale. And today J'jima got no bids. But this is just part of her story.
