No matter how much you cared, you never saw through the cracks, you never saw why I was hurting, you never saw me” She was circling now, the fire was picking up around them, burning high in places, and creating a black ashen arena in others where her water had already put it out. The air sizzled with smoke, steam, and electricity.

If he wanted a fight, he would get one. Red leapt forward, ripping her claws across his face with as much force as she could muster as she sprang over him, aiming to land on his back and sink her dripping fangs into his scruff.

If you hate my truth you hate me. I don’t need you, I never did. I never will. She forced it to be true, just for this moment, it had to be true.
