ENTRY for the contestThis is a completely new version of my earlier version of this scene, done ages ago (ahem... In December).
Anyway, I changed a lot of things : I completely redrew Dumbledore, I redrew the floor, and I changed Tom a bit.
If you remember the older version, you'll know it's way better. If you haven't seen the old version, be thankful and enjoy this one

I like this scene. The movie completely buffed it up though, Dumbledore was grey in the films, in the book, he'd have this hair colour. I didn't mind Tom's look in the film though.

I really like it--you remembered Dumbledore's oddly colored suit! I like Dumbledore's stern face and Toms's creepy/sulky one. Strangely enough I don't see this scene portrayed very much in fanart.

Just a note: Dumbledore's head is a bit too big for his body - a proportion issue.
I kinda like that map on the right...an interesting touch.

Well thanks for the constructive criticism. When you work on a piece for some time, it's sometimes hard to distanciate yourself enough to see things like that. I'll try to work on it.

You're welcome, and I know just what you mean! Try this trick for digital pieces: Flip the entire canvas horizontally, mirroring it. It helps you pick out things that you didn't notice before, exactly *because* you stared at it too long. When you flip the picture, give it another view, it refreshes your eye.
