Hi! I have featured this wonderful artwork in my latest journal:
for only a few... Hello my friends!!!
Today I finally managed to clear my messages I don't actually know how many deviations I have gone through but I love seeing all your new work... although it makes it near impossible to pick 60 images to add to this feature
I hope you are all well I am sorry for any birthdays that I may have missed...it is not because I don't love you
just that I haven't been on to see that your birthday was approaching
Here is my absolute fave selection from the Accumulation of amazing deviations you have all created over the last month
Please note that the artworks chosen are irrespective of their popularity/number of faves or views...they are simply images that inspire and fire my imagination Love, fave, share and enjoy!!! [I am a dummy!]
Have a great day!

This looks really good! I was wondering what inspired it? Is it based on a myth or story?

Oh, this one is amazing, Kelly! I know as an artist, you probably loathed that one of your pieces was leaked by the gallery, but I this one is amazing (although I must be dull as I saw it on your Instagram.) Was this one painted on the paper Marzipan inspected on Instagram while it was soaking?
Fester really fits your collection. I love that she's missing her bottom half because it's all roots. She's "rooted" into her past, you know? But birds are always symbolic of the future, yet these are raven or crow-like, which are scavengers. She plagued. She wants to move forward into the future, but she's festering and bound by her past or her present situation. She needs freedom.
My other trail of thought went to she's dying inside and falling apart on the outside. It definitely reflects your feelings, since I know you.
I think I may get a few more trails of thoughts here, but those are the first two! (On that note, why do I always pick out the depressed trains of thought first? Hm. Most may find the strength bits first, I tend to go the depressed avenue first....siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh.)

Haha, thanks Katie! Here's one more clue to help your interpretation: the yellow band...

Well, aren't yellow bands for soldiers and veterans? So, she's a veteran and will soldier on?
My brain is so officially fried.

Nah, my intention was for the band to be viewed as on a tree.

I didn't get that one, but I can see it now that you pointed it out. With yellow and ribbons and I think of soldiers due to my military upbringing (sort of a curse, I guess.) I was surrounded by them for a long time! That and floral wreaths when it comes to nature. I still don't tolerate them well without thinking of Veteran's and Memorial Days! It's like, "Go away!"
