fuchsia-there are about 100-110 species of fuchsia. The great majority are native to South America. Fuchsia leaves are opposite or in whorls of 3 or 5 simple lanceolate and usually have serated margins. Their bright colors attract hummingbirds.Related content

well if I ever see one in our neck of the woods I'll definitly shoot the little darlin. Unfortunatly either I'm just too busy or they don't like our neighborhood.

ive never seen these where do you live that they grow so well? probably here in arizona it would be way too hot for them

I'm up in Michigan. They're fucshias. I know most of them are from South America so I imagine heat shouldn't be an issue for them. I know they sure as heck wouldn't survive outside during our winters. I think maybe the only issue you would have is the dryness out there, you'd have to make sure to keep them well hydrated.

so much cooler then for certain up there. how close are you to the lakes? we have bee nso hot that the plants look like they are burning up. rain will come soon... we hope! happy weekend to you love

pretty close, we're basically in the thumb, I'm not an uper (upper peninsula person). I'm actually very close to Detroit. Take care and enjoy your weekend.
