Description
So I felt like doing a few more Andromeda dolls, and voila, here they are! I did a few renditions for Andromeda in the past, but I feel that these are much better suited to her current iteration in my mind. From left to right: Andromeda just out of the bath and getting ready to go to bed when she catches sight of a certain someone at her window, Andromeda during a typical day in the Aethiopian court, and finally Andromeda when she starts living in in Mycenae with her husband. I like to think that while she appreciates Greek fashion, she will always keep the flare of her homeland. I imagine she would always like her many children (seriously, according to Greek myth, Perseus and Andromeda had NINE children together; seven sons and two daughters, all of whom either founded or played major roles through marriage in establishing the country's royalty across the land) to take pride in their Aethiopian roots as much as they do their Greek ones. Oh, and also, fun fact, Perseus and Andromeda are actually the great grandparents of the hero Heracles through their son Electryon.Princess of Ethiopia

Thank you! I find her a very interesting character in Greek myth and would love to elaborate on her character in my own writing. Not to mention her marriage with Perseus resulted in the births of so many well-known characters throughout myth. Apparently one of their daughters, Gorgophone, was the first woman to marry twice according to mythology. ^^
