Description So recently I discovered a short but interesting Greek myth about the creation of the first rose. In the myth, Khloris, goddess of flowers, while walking in her garden one day comes across a lifeless nymph. Wanting to preserve the poor woman's beauty, Khloris decided to change her into a flower. She was aided by Aphrodite (who gave the nymph a portion of her beauty), Dionysus (who gave a drop of nectar to give her a pleasant scent), and the Three Graces (who gave her allure, brilliance, and elation). Then Zephyrus who was god of the west wind and became Khloris's husband, blew a clearing in the clouds so that Apollo could shine upon the nymph and make her bloom. Thus the rose was created and called the Queen of Flowers, immortalizing the cooperation of the eight gods for eternity.
It's a myth I rather liked and hope to maybe write a short story about in the future. I especially find it interesting that Zephyrus helps Khloris with her task as well, since they became husband and wife. And yes, this is the same Zephyrus that fought with Apollo over the love of Hyacinthus. Yeah...apparently he was married. Who knew? I though it might be fun to maybe have the whole creating the rose process as when they first met and maybe got married after that. Like I said, just a short story idea that's been bouncing around my head for a few weeks. And so the three outfits pictured here from left to right are when Khloris finds the dead nymph, what she wears while she's actually working on the creation of the rose, and when she is officially Zephyrus's bride. I think she looks quite nice.

Yeah, I only found out about it only recently. I was reading up about the wind gods and saw that Zephyrus apparently was married. Since I was curious I did some research on Khloris and found the story. I thought it was lovely.

It's such a beautiful story And Khloris looks lovely, especially the third one.

But hasn't Zephyrus sort of... carried Khloris away?

Thank you. Yeah, I just thought it was too good of a story not to at least do a few outfits for. I really want to write a short story of it because it's such an obscure story, I didn't even know about it until a few weeks ago.

That is actually true according to mythology. Apparently the wind gods like literally sweeping girls off their feet. But I decided to have there at least be a getting to know each other phase and a bit of flirtation if I ever do go forward with that short story idea.
