It takes a certain type of patience, strength and courage to be able to speak no truth, no lies, no words. In the best of times, but also in the worst of times, silence is all it takes. We can sometimes find comfort, and also sorrow.
So instead, look into my eyes, and tell me what you see.

HAPPY EASTER! Hope you had an awesome weekend and long-weekend for some lucky few!
And from this long weekend and mid-semester break from university, I managed to find some time for myself to draw this piece. It's been sooo long since I last painted digitally, almost two months! So I'm feeling a little rusty, but hopefully I can keep it up again
PS - side question: I've been suggested here and there to start recording my drawing processes as speedpaint videos, and I was just wondering if anybody would be remotely interested in it if I were to start recording and putting them on my youtube channel?

It's such a great feeling to be back. Honestly, I was really nervous to suddenly come back from a long disappearance. Was scared that nobody would remember me or care, but it's so touching to feel so welcomed back haha. Even though it wasnt that long really.
The eyes are pretty much my favourite part as well. As you can probably guess, I REALLY love eyes HAHA. It's about the way they can speak, and say so much with so little. Windows to the soul!
For real? I want to start making vids and tutorials, and maybe even teach people for whoever would care.

I'm totally with you on that, I love eyes, they can be really expressive by themselves and I love that. They are one of my favorite things to draw, although I'm still trying to give them more life and expression. Practice makes perfection I guess! xD
Totally! Speedpaint videos are great, but even tutorials and stuff like that? It would be amazing! I really struggle with digital art, so I'm always searching for good tutorials, they are a great way to learn and try new techniques.

YEAH! Me too. Well, that's all I could do for the past few weeks. I could never find time to just sit down and paint digitally for hours because of workload. SO I only ever got time for ksetches and watercolour pieces

Well, I have the same! I really want to draw stuff, watercolors and digital art and stuff. But I finally got time now to draw, there is only 1 report I have to write about art history. It's pretty big and we have to make illustrations for it as well. ;A; I did drew some small sketchy drawings in the new sketchbook I brought earlier.
But not sure when I will do my next watercolor drawing. I'm working on a drawing now, but I'm not sure if I will do it digital or with watercolors...;v;

Well, I tried it but I found out that the paper was to small to even start coloring it with watercolors....and later I ruined it with my black pens so I'm glad I scanned the drawing before messing up. So it will turn our being a digital drawing instead. ^^|| I felt disappointed after I messed up, worked the whole morning to get it ready and than, bamm, you ruin it and can start over from the beginning.... .___.
Next time, I draw something that is bigger and hopefully I won't mess that up as well..I wanted to do a watercolor drawing so badly..
Well, I try it next time, got more idea's I want to try out, this just didn't work.
But I might upload the drawing I was working on, but then digital colored, so keep an eye on it. :3

I honestly used to scan my drawings before I worked on them, but I kinda had to reinforce my fear and just tell myself 'NO!! ONE SHOT, MAKE IT COUNT!'
Which is a weird mentality, but It kinda works for me!

I honestly, am afraid to do a watercolour, that's why I haven't done anything yet. College isn't helping either but I managed to finish 2 big poster projects.
One of them is for a festival that is hold on the 5th of May, together with posters of other people, they will spread them through the city. X3 It's cool to see your work hang into the city. I only haven't heard if they already spread it or not, if they did, I need to go and look for it so I can make a picture of it. XD
Anyway, I hope to do some watercolours soon, as soon as I find back my courage. *goes and hide in a corner.*

I'll let you know when I get it going! Gotta get a good idea first haha. the one thing I'm paranoid about is my tendency to 'rotate' the canvas. I made a video ages ago and I had no idea what it looked like when you sped up the video a crap load, and you forgot that you rotate the canvas ALOT.
It was like a whirlwind hahha
