First of all I really recommend a read through the Newcomers Guide  , lots of really useful information there
Most people get their first esk through the nursery, you're given a colour palette and a nature feature and can design with common features from there. Other possibilities are that sometimes people give away MYO slots or you can get one of the adopts.

Can you help me with my profile? Some things I just don’t get , like do I start on LV1 or 0? And how am I supposed to adopt or get Esk from the nursery if I need a tracker but don’t I need to get an Esk to make a tracker?

Hehe I'm happy to help You don't need an esk to make a tracker, your player tracker is just for you to log the art you've made for the group and to keep track of your AP points. There's some good templates in the newcomers guide!
You start at Lvl 1 with 0 AP points, to be able to use the nursery you need to be lvl 2 with 100 + AP points. If you're looking for esk to draw to get points then the NPCs are good fun or you could post a journal to the group asking for esk to draw. Alternatively you could find an esk that you like the look of and check their tracker to see if they are free to draw, if they are that then can be a nice surprise for someone!
