I suppose everything has been already said up until now... but well, I can't help saying out loud that your drawing is simple great. I'd say that, maybe more than the drawing, what gives it power is the idea behind it. It gaves you an electric feeling, truly, powered by your words and with those amazing colours as the light bulb (or should I say focus?). He is looking directly at the viewer, without anything to hide, without anything to be ashamed of.
I love it, thank you so much for sharing this piece of you with us.

The contrast is wonderful and gives a touch of an eerie aura. Paired with the words, however, it seems more like grim satisfaction combined with bitter determination and a sense of relief or peace - as if coming to terms with some darkness that has plagued the inside. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but, then again, it's art! Aren't we supposed to?
