so many small dots... can't be achieved with little lamps, can it? at least not so many so near to each other. so... what exactly DID you take a photo of here. I'm in the mood to experiment now and would love a few pointers.

As a thumbnail, it looks like it's not bokeh.
Generally, I do not take a full view of a picture if I don't like it in thumbnail, but I was intrigued by the aesthetics of this stock image, so I took a closer look.
The only thing I can say (show, rather) is this:
And maybe it's just me, but I keep on seeing flower patterns on this image.
