Description
Storytime:As Sabercake was born, the bell chimed twelve, midnight. When he first opened his eyes, he saw the stars. The stars, the moon, all of it. He was amazed by all those sparkling things in the sky and got lost staring at it. Ever since he was born, he would take his time to stare at those stars. Somehow, this small Wyngling was attracted to them and wished for wings to fly up there.
As he found out what his claws can do, the small baby was surprised. It could so easily sink into berries and earth, he had fun sticking his food onto his claws like a fork. Sabercake also wondered, why not all of his legs had claws but some held those soft paws -it was no fun at all. He could not stick food onto it, neither he could scratch with them. Not even digging in the mud would work.
Sabercake was so proud of himself as he saw a strand of hair growing from his head. He was not obsessed with it's fluffiness, but mesmerized by the way it would feel when wind blowed on it. He wouldn't stop giggling and chasing his own tail nub because of that funny feeling.
Sabercake enjoyed his very first gift: a brush. Big issue: How do you brush your hair if your claws always get tangled? Solution: Running around and asking if anybody can do it for him. So, if anybody's willing to help: Please do so. Sabercake is too clumsy for now. Maybe, someday he can do it himself, but for now I'd be happy if you could help out.
As he tasted something sweet for the first time, his eyes grew big and he started to drool. He looked like a puppy, begging for more. And he did. Almost nobody can say no to puppy eyes, a drooling mouth, short and messy hair and that silly smile of his. Don't you give him sweets! He will get too heavy and look like a rolling marshmallow if you do!
That being said - he is walking around the world with open eyes. He notices almost every little thing he gets across. Every flower, every leaf, even all the bugs he will notice. He is ticklish and dislikes the feeling of thousands of bugs and spiders across his body. He would be scared if you put a bug on him. As he first saw a spider, he curiously sniffed it - and accidently inhaled it! It got stuck in his nose and he sneezed for about half an hour before the spider found the exit. He was so grossed out that he developed some sort of phobia to insects. That means: Sabercake will start shivering if he sees one of them and immediatly do a U-Turn.
He is a sweetie that loves hugs (except from bugs), eating sweets, dressing up for fun, drawing almost everywhere (in the mud, on paper... on the WALLS too.) playing with things he never saw before, and maybe even accidently breaking them. There are so many things he has yet to learn. So many questions, stuck in his head. Sabercake thinks that the older Wngros look weird. All those jingling and shimmering Accessoires, one looking funnier than the other. Most of the time, he will run around tipsy, sniffing everywhere, sometimes tripping. The first time he got a band-aid, he licked it and tried to eat it. After the young wyngling found out it doesn't taste well, he spat it out and made funny sounds, similar to sneezing and coughing at the same time. Ever since that day, he is more careful when eating something new.
See you again then!
