Description ~Embarrassed~

Shizuka is the kind of person who never feels at ease in front of a camera. But even the very embarrassed girl is still kind of cute. ^^

Thanks for coming by!

Hi there! Hiromi custom was modified version of AnimeDoll I have only used in personal renders. I have just scaled her legs on the Y axis to make them longer, which required adjusting the joint zones a little bit, and then saved as a new CR2. All of it can be done in Poser itself.

I believe the embarrassment only makes her more adorable.

Thank you! The pose was actually from a real photo, where my gf saw the camera and didn't know if she was going to stay or run away because the bikini her mom bought was too small for her. She was frozen blushing in that half turning back and half staying pose, like in this image. I though it was just too cute. ^_____^

Some people are picture-shy no matter what they look like.
You've probably seen somebody like that at some point. ^^

this is kinda nice, could you post a tutorial on how you do this kinda arts, what program, or whatever? this is kinda good!

ken1171 In reply to zarsh [2007-06-04 00:15:43 +0000 UTC]

Thank you! After many requests for a tutorial, I ask myself what would be the subject? Tutorials that get too technical can be discouraging to people, and the ones that are too generic don't actually help people get anywhere in a practical sense. What should the tutorial be about? Scene composition? Lighting & shadows? Rendering techniques? Camera framing and perspective? Character placement and posing? Postwork? Use of colors & materials? Background integration using alpha channels? Composing facial expressions?

Those are a few of the more basic topics involved on creating my gallery deviations, but there are also more advanced ones, like creation of custom morph targets I used on her hair and character customizations that involve hacking into the Poser file internals to change body proportions and fix side-effects like joint deformation problems.

If I would post a tutorial on something specific about Poser, what should the topic be? If I would write about everything, it would be more like a book than a tutorial.

Thank you! I almost gave up on this render because Poser 7 ruins the AO shadows when combined with certain HDRI light probes. What was advertised as a great P7 feature is becoming my biggest frustration. I had to manually clean up the AO shadows but in some places they were too "dirty" to be fixed. Have you had any luck with that?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MegaMako In reply to ken1171 [2007-03-25 02:03:49 +0000 UTC]

I have had the same problem. I have been not using those features lately because of it, but I do want to start trying to figure out how to get the best results again sometime. ^^ I will let you know if I figure anything out.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ken1171 In reply to MegaMako [2007-03-25 02:19:00 +0000 UTC]

I can tell you in advance that SOME HDRI probes cause AO shadows to come out dirty, while some others don't. They they do, I tried ALL possible parameters in ALL possible combinations and shadows always come dirty. My friends from the AG Studios are having the same problems and they couldn't have it fixed yet. Some thought the glitch was related to "Min Shading Rate" but shadows come out dirty even if after I set it to Zero... T_T

Waah, it looks like a raisin doll. Just got to love this~ Great pose too and of course- I like the model.

Hey, speaking of which, I find the more shy ones as the cuter type. Actually, Im not all up for those daring ones either.

Well... You know, some people can be really embarrassed even if no one's watching them in such wears. Even in a secluded place. I guess the reason lies before that it's not something casual(at least, to them), no matter whichever origin culture you're referring to(unless you're talking about modern ones of course). In other words, they might just be thinking about it too much.. Which I don't consider as a bad thing either.

ken1171 In reply to Router-Jax [2007-03-14 09:47:04 +0000 UTC]

I think shy cuteness has been the theme of many Anime/manga series. To some extend, that is considered as a virtue in Japan, while in other countries it may be even considered as silly or even stupid. In Japanese iconography, the shy girl is usually brunette with a long straight hair and big round eyes. The aggressive girl has shorter red hair and a short temper as well. ^^

Router-Jax In reply to ken1171 [2007-03-14 10:04:53 +0000 UTC]

Yaa that. As to how much that's rather something regular in the Asian region(particularly the eastern ones), though I think it's more exaggerated in Japan. Similarly in Muslim culture shyness is considered a virtue, unnecessary shyness does not, however.

As somebody who's into anthropology, the iconized images actually make sense to me... Indeed.

ken1171 In reply to Router-Jax [2007-03-14 10:51:52 +0000 UTC]

I think exaggeration is a typical Asian feature that is not exclusive of Japan. ^^

Router-Jax In reply to ken1171 [2007-03-14 14:13:40 +0000 UTC]

Oh.. So you think, eh? Haha, anyways being shy is virtuous in its own way. Agreed my friend.

ken1171 In reply to Router-Jax [2007-03-15 01:25:07 +0000 UTC]

I mean, just look at the extreme exaggerations in the Chinese movies.
I think that is an Asian feature that Japan also seems to follow. ^^

Polarization, the word that puts it simply. One man do something, and the others follow.. Seemingly it's been going around the region. Well that's our specialty after all, ought to be proud of it.

Most of the culture in Asia originally came from India, and spread across great Asia to China and all around, to include good part of Arab countries. From martial arts to lolikon, it all originated from India.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Router-Jax In reply to ken1171 [2007-03-15 09:10:16 +0000 UTC]

Indeed. As according to the very beginning of civilization history, India and China have prevailed for very long than any other nations in Asia. From religion to culture, they affect almost every earlier parts of everything. For example, Muslim religious culture allows marriage between couples without age restrictions at all(However may differ between sects) where some even get married as early as 10 years old, some even younger. Or even have a partner way older/younger in age, leaving a big difference in age gap. This apparently happen in many Asian regions as well.

Considering that, the culture we see nowadays are only of the same ideas, only viewed and elaborated from different locale perspectives.

Router-Jax In reply to ken1171 [2007-03-15 13:02:40 +0000 UTC]

Yep, so I heard. Quite a popular culture itself.

Though I wonder.. There's another version of the same category, but only for boys- shotakon, am I right? I haven't heard much regarding this part, is it less popular? Im curious to know... Just for culture study.
