ok so the title was inspired by the noodlers map, but this isn't really fanart for them, but maybe???
it's brutally for a contest for
it's about our most significant warriors winter scene!
This is the scene after leafpool gives birth in Leafpool's wish!
so anyways the reason I think this scene is so important is because it is the birth of hollykit, lionkit, and jaykit, the kits of crowfeather and leafpool (who aren't pictured here because they're hiding behind leafpool). leafpool is having to give up someone she loves, even though the kits haven't even been alive for a moon. luckily, squirrelflight, her sister, is willing to take care of her kits for her. this scene really shows how close the two sisters are, willing to keep a secret that could ruin the others career and social life.
ok but about the art lOOk AT tHAT ShADING. I realllyyy wanted to experiment with this one and i'm kinda proud of it but now! like squirrel's body looks ok and all but the faces look, off????? oh well, I'm pretty proud of the background, except for the hollowed tree's bark because it looks more like fur???? oh well, it's a start? I also might redesign leafpool for a 3rd time because her last design was rushed ;-;
