Back in March, when Ship to Shore Phono Co. put up that kickstarter to release the MOTHER soundtrack on vinyl, I offered to do a bunch of artwork for the liner notes, one illustration for each track. They accepted, so now there's a booklet floating around out there with my fingerprints all over it! Here's the art for the Fallin' Love instrumental!Related content

This one, Fallin' Love, happens to be my favorite from this project. I'm not sure if I have a least favorite, but I do sort of cringe a tiny little bit when I look at the one I did for Magicant, and see how much sky I had to put in there in order to meet the format requirements for the soundtrack's booklet. Ironically, in the end, they wound up cropping/fading most of the sky out, which I think was the right decision.

I asked for a picture of Ninten and Anna dancing on your "Bein' Friends" drawing post on Miiverse? What did you say on my post where I said I feel sad at the point when you sing the Eight Melodies to Queen Mary and Magicant disappears? I didn't have a chance to read it before admin deleted it. Also, I know I should ask this in the comments of the picture I'm talking about, but that picture of yours where you replicated the scene from the original Japanese Mother 1 commercial, would it be ok if I printed it out and used it as a poster on my bedroom wall? I don't want to do it without your say-so.

Hi, Jamie! I did remember you - that's what my post on Miiverse was about. It wasn't so much about what you posted (though I definitely agree about the sadness of watching Magicant go), it was just me letting you know that the art piece you wanted to see was uploaded finally. The admin deleted my post because I directed you to my deviantART. I figured I could get away with it by not using an actual URL and just telling you to look up my username on this site, but apparently not.
Yes, that's perfectly OK for you to print out my art and use it as a poster.

I would, but I've always been a terrible artist. I never could draw pictures. I made a screenshot from the trophies on Smash Bros, but using it on there isn't even an option.

Maybe. I've been quite busy lately, and I think MOTHER 3 could very well be a shoo-in at this point anyway; my only hope is that they'll use Clyde's translation, since it would seriously suck for the officially localized names and wordings to turn out less impressive than the unofficial ones we're used to... but it's wishful thinking.

There's a lot happening in this picture. Dreams, poses, that main tree with the N+A, and I can see a heck of a lot of lines you used in this drawing!

Out of all the art I did for this project, this one turned out to be my favorite. I am still SO pleased with how well it came out.
Anyway, it actually took me eight months to complete the project. I started last March and finished it in November.
