Description
Some really old comic stuff from Yours Truly. This was drawn in 2003.I promise you, my art style has improved since then. PLEASE BELIEVE ME~!
If you want more information on this thing, please see the gallery folder's main page, since it would be redundant to repeat the whole business in every deviation's description box.
About this particular page: I really have to apologize about that "cookie" jar. At the time I didn't know that what we Americans call cookies the British call biscuits. After rereading this part of the comic, I also became afraid cookie jars were primarily an American invention, but it turns out that "biscuit barrels or jars have been used in England since the latter part of the 18th century." (Wikipedia article on cookie jars) [link]
This even comes up again later in the chapter, when Tolkien describes Bilbo as not participating in the dwarves' feasting and conversation, and instead halfheartedly nibbling at a biscuit.
