I was going to save this just in case I needed to keep it under my hat, but I've submitted this and the page after it to a publisher who has a Disney license (well, sort of, but it's complicated, and I don't know all the details). I might take it down if showing it off to the general public violates some unspoken rule of submitting material, so be warned.My idea was, I wanted to illustrate a full comic adaptation of Treasure of the Golden Suns for the DuckTales 30th anniversary (of course, after the Cinestory was announced - which covered the exact same miniseries using TV screencaps - I became worried it meant the end of my ambitions, but no harm in still asking, right?).

I wish it could be, but even if my submission had gotten an actual response from somebody who could make that decision, I don't think they'd accept. There doesn't currently seem to be any place in comics for classic DuckTales; everything nowadays is about the reboot.

No, I submitted these pages to a couple of Disney-licensed publishers, but it's just not something that can happen right now. (Possibly.. gulp... ever.)
