Was hit with insomnia one night so finally got around to messing around in SAI. So here's my first picture made in SAI! What d'ya think?
Cobbled together random tidbits that I remembered from tutorials I had seen over the years and tried to replicate a technique or two, but mainly need to just get comfortable drawing in it.

Sketch lines were awkwardly thin while zoomed out and hands were too small the first few tries, possibly because I couldn't see the head or anything to properly compare it with while zoomed in to line (my laptop screen is pretty wide so the drawing space is a lot more horizontal than vertical) so there are some bumps to work my way around...

I guess at some point I'll get a more comfortable method for drawing/sketching in it, then when that's no longer an issue maybe I can look around for super cool coloring methods or something~
