Contest entry for SpringP0ol 's 300 watchers contest !

I'm on a roll lol. Doing these chibi sketchy customs has been a lot of fun! And I've gotten to do some more semi-complex designs, I feel very accomplished with the ones I've made!

Anyways, here's this lady! I'm quite happy with how she turned out. I knew I wanted some greens and bright colors, and as I gathered references and began designing her she ended up with a spring/butterfly/cherry blossom aesthetic. I think it suits her!

Here's some ideas/headcanons! You didn't give any specifications for personality and other such things, so I hope this is alright! If she wins then you are more than free to change anything about her ^^

- Silk/Leaf hybrid (perhaps with distant seawing)

- Can sing! She sounds something like this or this

- Spends her time making traditional silkwing garments and jewelry

- Has a small collection of bonsai trees she cares a lot for

- Loves festivals, especially culture festivals

- Is trying to learn the old language of Pantala

- Holds workshops were she teaches young dragons about original silkwing culture

- Like all Pantalan dragons, she has a noticable dialect that sounds almost nothing like the Pyrrhian language that influenced it

- When she's very overwhelmed/needs to get her emotions out the practices metal. Screaming out her emotions is very cathartic

Design notes/thoughts:

- Antlered horns to look like the branches of a cherry blossom tree (with cherry blossom jewelry for fitting theming)

- Butterflywing-like ears

- Only has a single pair of wings

- Scales on legs might be able to glow under extreme emotion

- Freckles!

- Spines stop at the back of her head

- Based on spring (obviously) with flower/cherry blossom and butterfly undertones/secondary theming

- White pupils (can still see just fine)

- Tongue gradates from pink to gold like her underbelly

- Yes she does have teeth in her lower mouth (of course if she wins then you are more than welcome to remove them)

If she wins then I will provide a full-size png with and without text! Once she is yours you are free to edit her in whatever way you see fit (inclduing making her design look extremely different)! Just credit me for the original design and you're all good! Likewise you do not have to keep any of the ideas/headcanons provided.

If she doesn't win then I might keep her, I'm very happy with how she turned out

Also included some of my... sorta headcanons on wof? More like additional thoughts than headcanons, I don't really have a headcanon filled AU of this world or anything. Basically what I'm trying to say is that if I include more headcanons in future work then they may not align because they're not Official Headcanons, so to speak, if that makes sense sfgfd. They're just ideas I wanted to include, and I may not stick to it. I tried to build a little bit onto canon

Might do 1 more contest and then I'll be done for now. I've been enjoying it!
